Can I say Rocket is one amazing animal?
You can say he "ran away" with only a scrape.
I saw that dog get hit.
I saw him lay limp in the crosswalk.
I stopped by the owners home today; because, I am currently without a phone. It was great to see Rocket meet me at the door. He was bouncing around and barking at me, and all my fears subsided.
Wow. Was I really seeing this.
I spoke to his owner. She told me the doctor asked her if he was really hit by a car.
I saw it with my own eyes, and I have been worrying since about that little bundle of fur.
He gave me a hug around my legs and kept smelling me. I didn't do much, but I kinda thought he was saying thanks for caring. Believe me that's all the Thanks I will ever need.
Thank You, Rocket for continuing to renew my faith in helping others.
