Open arms
I really feel like I'm part of a family.
I'm sick today. I came into work because people count on me. I worked three hours straight. Slammed out three page of work.
About 11:00, my "cold" decided it wasn't done with me. I was typing a projects or the fire house. Then next I knew, I was a sleep. Last night, I went to bed at 23:00 and woke at 05:30.
I don't know what it is. I though it was a post nasal, but now I'm having problems swallowing. I feel like crap.
Of course, I have not stopped working. My state went from the 70*F to 50* during the day and 32*F at night. I have ran about 10 calls with my current placement. I was told I would be cleared by the end of the month.
The nasty weather didn't help either. Doing CPR in the cold rain, doing water rescues in is the 32 degree waters, is what truly did me in.
My new placement keeps telling me to rest. In all my employment years I have been worked to the bone, then discarded when I was not of any use to them. This is unreal. I took three days off, but I couldn't rest. I went to my placement, and someone left a medium homestyle chicken noodle fresh from the deli.
I'm still in awe.
I ended up with pneumonia. I still don't have a voice. I crave social interaction so find me on twitter.
